  Hi Everyone! Lily and I are doing ice skating classes twice a week, and this spring break we had a 4 day program. Here is a video from day 2, we've gotten a bit better since then. I am in blue and Lily is in pink with a black vest. Write more soon, -Emily

  Hi Everyone!  Yesterday night Mum, Dad, Lily and I went out for a fonde dinner! It was delicious! We had a cheese fondue with broccoli, tiny potatoes and baguette cubes, then a chocolate fondue with marshmallows, strawberries, banana, orange and Granny Smith apple. The orange in the chocolate fondue wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, but the Granny Smith apple, was okay. Write more soon! -Emily

  Hi Everyone!  Yesterday Lily and I went to the chocolate shop again! We got hot chocolate and a toffee covered cookie to share. We also got a chcolate covered mashmallow to dip in the hot chocolate! It was all very yummy! Thanks again to my aunty Juliet and uncle Hann for the Choc shop voucher!! Before all that, we had a fun family ski day, and I found this cool slogan near a pastry shop. Write more soon, -Emily

  Hello Everyone! Yesterday Lily and I had Beavertails, a (vegetarian) Canadien dessert. It contained no beavers, don't worry! It was a flat oval of deep-fried dough with sweet things on top! Ours had Nutella, white chocolate chunks and brownies! It looked like the photo below. We unfortunately didn't get a photo before we had eaten most of them! But we have a small photo.   Hi Everyone!  Yesterday and the day before, Lily and I made 2 (and  half) snow people! The first one was MASSIVE and lives on a ledge near Alta lake. The base was as big as me! And the second one was much smaller, lives in our backyard but is better decorated. The snow dog beside the little one is called Rosie. Snow Rosie was modelled on the dog next to the big snowman, Rosie. Write more soon, -Emily

  Hi Everyone!! Yesterday Lily and I went skiing with our upstairs neighbour and her friends! They are all ski instructors, so Lily and I got 3 ski instructors to ourselves! It was amazing! The snow was all fresh powers, deeper than the length of my poles in some places! Lily was up to her knees on some of the runs! It was so cool! One of our neighbours friends even took us down a run that wasn't on the trail map! It also had a secret gallery of the portraits of people who used to work on the mountain. My favourite run was called Authur's Choice, it was one of the 11 black runs we did though the trees(Lily and I love runs through the trees!). After we came home, we played with the dog my neighbour was looking after, Rosie. She loves snowballs! All in all, it was an amazing day. -Emily P.S. Happy Pi day! March 14= US date- 3/14

  Hi Everyone!  Yesterday we went skiing while it snowed! It was very cool, and you could even see individual snowflakes! On our last run, Dad and I saw diamond dust in the sky! This happens sometimes when you are skiing through a cloud. It looks like glitter! After skiing, Lily and I went to some ice skating lessons, which were so much fun!   Hi Everyone! A while back, I bought 4 meters of 6mm climbing cord to make a strap for my purse. I had it sitting in my backpack and cupboard for over a month now, so I decided that today I would finally make it! Here are some photos of the outcome. Write more soon, -Emily

  Hi Everyone!  Yesterday, Lily and I baked choc chip cookies for our friends (who live upstairs), who were coming back from holidays. Afterwards, we tested half a cookie each, and they were YUMMY!!! Below this post, I have added a video of us walking in the snow -Emily

Hi Everyone!! FINALLY!! It has snowed again! Lily and I rushed out to eat some fresh flakes. Hopefully this will put a fresh, squishy layer of snow on the mountains, because last time we went up, it was like skiing on concrete. I sort of hope we get snowed in!   Hi Everyone! Yesterday, Mum and Dad took Lily and Me out to dinner! We went to Tandori grill, and Indian restaurant. For dessert, Mum, Dad and I all got Mango Lassies, and Lily got these yummy indian lemon donut things! They were very tasty and squishy! After dinner we wandered around town, looking at all the pretty tree lights. Welcome to the new blog site! Write more soon! -Emily

  Hi Everyone! I am so excited!! After AGES of waiting, my rental flute finally arrived from Toronto!! YAY!! I have missed playing the flute so much! I can't wait to practice again! On another note, I made sushi for dinner last night, and it was the first time that my sushi rolls didn't unroll! I usually put to much filling in the sushi, and it doesn't close.  Write more soon, -Emily
