EASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Image
Hi Everyone! HAPPY EASTER!!!!!! Mum and Dad hid lots of mini eggs in the lounge room. Some of them were super hard to find! We found them all eventually though. One year, we missed one egg and found it 6 months later! It was right in plain sight, too! Have an amazing Easter, -Emily

Vancouver fun!

Image
Hi Everyone! We've had lots of fun in Vancouver in the last few days! Let me give you a quick rundown. First, we went to a cool retro diner for breakfast! It was super cool and had mini jukeboxes at each table! (but they were out of order 🙁 )  They had very french toast! Then we took a little boat to go to the Granville Markets! It was an amazing craft/farmer's market! It had little piles of fruit in punnets, candies nuts, clay pots, felted toys, lemon squares, beautiful boiled sweets and lots more! And there were lots of free samples  😋. Then we went to the kids markets, which weren't as good as I originally thought. It was just a big toy store. But there was a cute kid's door to get in (along with the bigger door), a cute place where kids can get haircuts in seats that look like cars and a VR roller coaster place! Lily and I went on the Mario and Minecraft roller coasters, and the Minecraft one was much better.  After the markets, Mum and I went to the ice skating s...

Bunny Cafe!!

Image
Hi Everyone!  Today, Lily's life goal was met. GO TO A BUNNY CAFE!!!!! We got to spend a whole hour just cuddling and feeding bunnies! They were super cute! Our favorite bunnies were named Periwinkle, Mocha and Eeyore. They were so soft, especially under their ears. I wish we could have taken them home with us! Write more soon, -Emily P.S. The picture at the top is of Lily and I petting Mocha (the bunny climbing up on Lily) and Eeyore (the other one) and the pictures below are Lily and I petting Chelvis (the fat grey bunny) and Periwinkle (the small brown one)  P.P.S. Did you know that Mocha and Eeyore are both deaf due to ear infection? They were still as cuddley as the rest of the bunnies though!

FLUFFY PUPPY!!!!!!

Image
Hi Everybody! Yesterday Lily and I were allowed to take mum's gym coach's dog on a walk! Her name was Oakley and she is a poodle Australian sheepdog mix. SHE IS SO FLUFFY!!!! She always tried to carry her lead, so it looks like she's walking herself! And she chases us to try and eat out shoelaces! She is very cute!  Write more soon, -Emily

Yummy Ski Apres!

Image
Hi Everyone! Dad and I went up for a quick ski yesterday, but the conditions weren't very good. If I were to describe the weather in 3 phrases, this is what they'd be- -Grippy snow -Low Visibility -WET It was extremely slushy and rainy. But we still had fun! After we got down the mountain, we had some apres at Merlins, a really nice apres place with lots of cool things hanging on the walls. They even had the old front of a ski groomer on the wall!!! Dad and I shared a Rosemary Focaccia Pizza, and it was AMAZING! The base was focaccia and the yummy sauce was soaked into the base and it had this balsamic vinegar syrup sort of stuff on it. SO YUMMY!!!! I was also allowed to get a lemonaid (which I think was homemade) and they even had free refills!  If you ever go to the Blackcomb base at Whistler, defiantly go to Merlins! Write more soon, -Emily P.S. The last 2 photos are of a family ski day the week before. We saw a cool rainbow in a ring around the sun!!! (We had MUCH better...

Poisson d'avril!!!

Image
Hi Everyone! Aprils Fools day was 3 days ago, but instead I celebrated Poisson d'avril! It's the French version of April Fools day and literally translates to "April's Fish"! You celebrate by sticking paper fish to people's backs and hiding them around the house. Sometimes adults give kids chocolate fish too! Here is a pic of a paper fish I hid in my dad's boot. He walked all the way into town before he realized 😂! Write more soon, -Emily P.S. The photo below is of a can after I put it up to a flame (for science). I made carbon (soot)!!!
