MASSIVE ICICLE

This is just a quick post. We saw this massive icicle when we were out skiing yesterday, and I thought the sign next to it was quite funny in context!

  Hi Everyone! Aprils Fools day was 3 days ago, but instead I celebrated Poisson d'avril! It's the French version of April Fools day and literally translates to "April's Fish"! You celebrate by sticking paper fish to people's backs and hiding them around the house. Sometimes adults give kids chocolate fish too! Here is a pic of a paper fish I hid in my dad's boot. Lily's 12th B'day!!!

  Hi Everyone, Yesterday was Lily's 12th b'day!! She loved what I gave her, socks with ice-cream sandwiches on them and a bracelet that has a QR code that Lily can scan and track a giraffe on it! Her giraffe lives in Kenya. We ate pancakes for breakfast with syrup, whipped cream, fruit and dulce de leche.  We went to a soapstone (a really soft stone) carving class, and I made a tiny inukshuk and Lily made a book necklace. On the way there we saw a plant with very big leaves. Dad took a photo with my hand next to it. Then we ate some poutine and wings at the very first restaurant Mum and Dad ever went to in Whistler (it was in the year 2 BE (Before Emily :) ). We then went to the arcade and had a rematch at Mario karts! Lily won by HALF A SECOND!!!!!!! I WAS VERY CLOSE. Then we got pictures from the photo booth.  Lily's cake was a Nutella cream cake.
