Poisson d'avril!!!

 


Hi Everyone!

Aprils Fools day was 3 days ago, but instead I celebrated Poisson d'avril! It's the French version of April Fools day and literally translates to "April's Fish"! You celebrate by sticking paper fish to people's backs and hiding them around the house. Sometimes adults give kids chocolate fish too! Here is a pic of a paper fish I hid in my dad's boot. He walked all the way into town before he realized 😂!

    lol re the fish in Dads boots. Luckily he wasn’t going shopping for shoes. The science experiment sounds a bit scary.

BEST SKI DAY EVER!!!!

  Hi Everyone!! Yesterday Lily and I went skiing with our upstairs neighbour and her friends! They are all ski instructors, so Lily and I got 3 ski instructors to ourselves! It was amazing! The snow was all fresh powers, deeper than the length of my poles in some places! Lily was up to her knees on some of the runs! It was so cool! One of our neighbours friends even took us down a run that wasn't on the trail map! It also had a secret gallery of the portraits of people who used to work on the mountain. My favourite run was called Authur's Choice, it was one of the 11 black runs we did though the trees(Lily and I love runs through the trees!). After we came home, we played with the dog my neighbour was looking after, Rosie. She loves snowballs! All in all, it was an amazing day. -Emily P.S. Happy Pi day! March 14= US date- 3/14
